Cambodia has been so good to me so far! The coffee, the food, the ability to have access to so many things within walking distance is crazy to this girl who grew up on a dead-end road. But, at the same time, it’s easy to get caught up in the things of this world. So, now it’s time for me to focus on what God has been doing here.
My team has had the opportunity this past week to do ministry at a fish farm which included shoveling mud for a reservoir, painting, laying brick, leading devotionals, and last but not least, feeding the fish. It was an amazing week, but how did it change me?
It changed my view of how easy it is to forget that we are serving God in every aspect of our lives. 1 Corinthians 10:31 says, “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” Ministry is not always going to look like evangelizing to people, and that’s okay. So this week, I’m reminded of the fact that God is good in all circumstances and I should not be afraid to serve Him in every aspect of my life.
