I'm sitting here thinking about the fact that I get to start training camp tomorrow (which is crazy!!) and what the Lord has put on my heart.
It really hasn't completely soaked in for me yet that I get to be gone from home for 9 months and I have the wonderful opportunity to serve alongside >50 people in 4 countries to glorify the kingdom of God. I sure will miss everybody back home, but how excited I am for this next chapter in my life is beyond words!
I ask that, for my prayer warriors, that you would please be praying for me and my teammates while we are at training camp. I know that although that this is what God has meant for us to do, it will not be easy. Pray that we would have strength spiritually, physically, and mentally and that whatever we may do these next 9 months, that it will all be for the glory of God!
"But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that l the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong." (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)
